Two Bitches

You know when toddlers try to pronounce more challenging words and totally bungle them up into something so adorable that you encourage them to say it over and over?  With four kids, you can imagine that we’ve heard our share of these words.  As an example, when Emily used to say breakfast it came out as “breffix”.  Madison also struggled with that same word and it came out something like “breskus”.  For a couple of years now, Cameron has struggled with “you betcha” and it comes out…yep, you guessed it…..as “two bitches”.  Believe me we’ve taught her the right way to say it and I am positive that she now can, but because we’ve laughed at it so many times she continues to do it to get attention.  Now this is something that I know we should probably discourage especially since she has done this for TWO YEARS and she will start kindergarten in the fall, but we can’t bring ourselves to do it because it is so darn funny.  We may just have to let her kindergarten teacher (bless their soul whoever it ends up being) take care of this one for us.
